    The Web Development/Technical Project Manager is responsible to lead the development team, is responsible for new development initiatives, troubleshooting, managing support for tools and vendors, as well as assisting customer support issues. The Web Development/Technical Project Manager provides guidance on all elements of concept and layout, content development and identity management of all web properties with an extensive focus on project leadership. The Web Development/Technical Project Manager requires both an internal and external focus to execute and implement projects and concepts. The Web Development/Technical Project Manager works in a collaborative fashion through open communication, the giving and gaining of trust, and participating as an active member of the team in an environment of mutual respect.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Provide technical/functional direction to developers and vendors on assigned work; assign and manage the workload of our developers, as well as escalate any constraints to management
    • Accountable for BrainMD (online store) front/back-end development, connectivity, usability, functionality, testing and troubleshooting
    • Update and maintain documentation associated with processes, workflows, and sprints
    • Collaborate with marketing and creative team(s), create project timelines, and manage development milestones and deliverables
    • Create landing pages, splash pages and other interstitial web pages to bolster and support marketing initiatives
    • Participates in the planning and development of new and existing creative campaigns providing technical and creative support
    • Assists with preparing project proposals including planning and prioritizing work items, creating cost estimates, and developing project schedules
    • Technically and aesthetically converts .psd files into HTML to display beautiful designs
    • Performs regular website audits ensuring all information is current, accurate and links are functional
    • Designs and constructs web pages/websites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques
    • Utilizes Google Analytics and acts as a web statistician to guide design changes and UX/UI; implements necessary navigation changes based on ongoing analytics
    • Implements A/B testing techniques for all campaigns and creative initiatives supported by the Head of Marketing
    • Manages project tasks and communication with project team and keep projects on track for successful completion
    • Attend daily/weekly status meetings with department stakeholders and project teams

    Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing and/or maintaining a Magento 1x Enterprise Edition (EE) platform and currently working with Magento 2 required
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience designing technical solutions with proven ability to code web pages and work with content management systems required
    • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience working to design, develop, and launch corporate websites required
    • Candidate portfolios should exhibit the use of key design principles, industry standards, UI/UX design, Typography, a firm understanding of target audiences and explain your approach and problems solved
    • Strong knowledge of user interface and information design processes and methodology
    • Strong knowledge of web standards, procedures and implementation of best practices
    • Technical knowledge of various technologies and internet standards such as: HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, Javascript, Bootstrap, MySQL and CMS platforms: Wordpress, Magento 1 and 2
    • Strong knowledge of user interface and information design processes and methodology
    • Knowledge and experience in corporate branding, layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital media preferred
    • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
    • Strong knowledge of Git and Bitbucket
    • Knowledge of JIRA or other project tracking software preferred
    • Knowledge of digital marketing automation platforms such Listrak
    • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and leading projects using Agile Software Development
    • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and/or Microsoft 365
    • Strong verbal/written communication and listening skills; including excellent interpersonal skills and telephone communication
    • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, project management skills and time management skills
    • Ability to identify, analyze and proactively respond to challenging issues, render sound judgment, and provide recommended course of action
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
    • Ability to work effectively as a team player and provide superior customer service to all staff and leadership
    • Ability to work positively as a team player, and establish and maintain effective relationships with team members at all levels of the organization
