    The Business Analyst will perform various data analyses, develop actionable recommendations, and present and execute on such recommendations.  Presenting to senior-level executives will be commonplace.  From time to time, this position may be called upon to perform special projects outside the conventionally defined purview of business.  Negotiating and managing internal and external relationships is critical to the success of this position.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include data analysis, data modeling, operations trainings, presentation and coalition building.  This is a broadly defined role with the opportunity to make a major impact in our organization. 

    • Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and models as needed;
    • Prepare weekly and monthly operating and ecommerce metrics/dashboards;
    • Perform statistical analysis on financial data and operational metrics, identify trends and develop hypotheses;
    • Perform ROI analysis on marketing activities including online ad spend
    • Assist in the budget & forecast process and maintain data integrity within the information system;
    • Define and develop key performance indicators; analyze and interpret financial and operational performance, and track key operational objectives and strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability;
    • Evaluate operational efficiencies in various areas of the organization;
    • Develop hypotheses, gather data, brainstorm alternatives, and generate recommendations;
    • Integrate broad sets of data into frameworks which can then be used to synthesize learning and develop strategy;
    • Support M & A activities;

    Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics preferred
    • Master's degree in finance or business administration is desirable
    • Coursework in statistics, economics, and business is required
    • Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures, corporate budgeting, data analysis and financial analysis methods
    • Prior experience in business analytics or financial planning & analysis
    • 3-5 years of relevant business experience, and the ability to meet each of the following:
      • Proven analytical, problem solving, and quantitative abilities that can be demonstrated through coursework in finance, leadership, training, and management, as well as in work-related experience
      • Excellent research, analytical, and modeling skills
      • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
      • Excellent academic credentials
      • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
      • Ability to effectively take initiative, multi-task competing priorities and remain focused/organized in a fast paced environment with limited supervision
      • Highly motivated, takes ownership and delivers on commitments
      • A team player, able to work collaboratively within the group and across division/ functions and as an effective independent member
      • Extremely proficient at Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
      • Strong understanding of industry operating and patient management systems
      • Skilled at problem solving and must have a deep intellectual curiosity
